da big kahuna, starting now because 1) i finished all the hunger games book, 2) i've seen the movie twice (probably a third soon), read and watched interviews with cronenberg and ballard, 3) i might start a project where i need to read this finally. also intro to this edition by zadie smith, incredible pull, i want to read it so badly, but i'll wait until i finish the book.
