Book 2: vast improvement over book one of this volume. And the ending... *shivers*

With the benefit of 2 Kharkanas books worth of hindsight and knowing what they do in future books, the Shake are my freaking heroes.

Redmask and the Awl arc: complete waste of page-space.

Well, this is a most unpromissing start. Book one of this volume ranges from boring to annoying to horrible and I would happily punch every new character in the face. With a brick.

I gave the book as a whole 5 stars but it must be for the second half because the beginning sucks.
