This book is just pissing me off. Starts off with mmc hooking up with another woman and they are both loving it… never my style for MCs to enjoy others in the book. Also FMC has some scene where a guy follows her home and she drives to her exa instead he defends her and they have sex. Like why put that in there now I’m rooting for the ex. He sounded amazing. Mmc and FMC take forever to meet and I have to meet

Everyone and their cousin before hand. When they meet after being put on the case together I gave up. They were at the mmcs job where he’s a lawyer. And she slapped it him okay and then he choked her against a wall. No coming back from that for me. Last straw her crying and hugging a stranger in the parking lot after… what?! This was tooo bizarre for me. Hated mmc
