The spice was really good and mmc just gave me the gooey love hearts with how badly he wanted to be a safe place for FMC. Asking her to move in standing up for her against colleges and begging her to be by his side forever. The villain of the story was obvious but the fact he tried to kill her at the end did go further than I thought but didn’t derail the story

I lived FMC story of being orphaned with twin sister young and shipped off to family all over world and for this reason she wanted desperately to find love and stability so much she settled for a douche and a cheater. Mmc always wanted her but was warned off by the bf. We never did find out what he said him when he finally learned the truth years later

This author is hit or miss for me. Sometimes the science can be a bit much and she tends to go off on random tangents on unrelated topics. However this was the perfect mix of geeky, smart, lusty, love and I really enjoyed it. Mmc was down bad for FMC and while I thought he was sabotaging her in the beginning he quickly proved to be her strongest advocate
