“That’s right, Pretty Boy,” he drove in deep and nipped at his chin.
“I’m yours. And I’m going to be so good for you.”
Nate pulled him in close and showed him that he already was.
That together, no matter what anyone else said or thought, they were perfect.

~ They're everything

He’d skipped out on classes all week, ignoring Nate when he’d told him to go and he’d be fine on his own. Even the Brumal had been rejected, Kaz shutting his multi-slate off more often than not. It seemed like they were both trying to relearn the other, testing if they could be more than sharp tongues and biting words. So far, it was looking like they could.

Nate didn’t respond, not sure what he’d say. He was still getting used to this, the softer side of Kazimir that touched him delicately and looked at him like he was afraid he’d up and vanish in a puff of smoke. The kidnapping hadn’t just affected Nate, it’d done something to Kaz as well.

Speaking of those meds, they aren’t meant to be taken on an empty stomach.”
“I’m the one who took care of my sister whenever she was ill, remember?” Nate headed to his bedroom.
“Yes, and now I’m the one who’s going to take care of you,” Kazimir called after him.

“Regretting selecting me already?” Nate teased, and even though it was clearly a joke, Kaz paused.
“No,” he replied seriously. “I will never regret that.”
Nate held his gaze. “Wanna bet?”
“Yeah.” His fingers slipped beneath the waistband of Nate’s boxers, cupping him. “Yeah, that’s a bet I’ll take.”
And it was one Kazimir had no intentions of ever losing.

“The only person who’s ever been able to sneak up on me is you.” Kaz hadn’t seen this coming, not even when he’d been the one going after his pretty racer in the first place. “How’s it feel to tame a devil, babe?”
Nate pretended to think it over. “Pretty good, actually.”

He wanted someone to pick him. He didn’t want them staying or leaving based on his last name or threats.
