Multiple animal deaths. Worst one so far is killing Dennis, who’s incredibly smart but apparently stupid enough to run after a stationary ups truck because that’s just too ingrained. I really don’t know what this is supposed to be doing for me

So far, this book is both poignant and stupid? ST is smart enough to say very thoughtful and meaningful things. But he also calls things silly names, which is distracting. I guess I feel the author’s intent is unclear
