Why is it even debated if Richard is queer? I mean, hello?! There’s a difference between “I’m disinclined that way” and “I’m more disinclined that way than not” lmao. Also, what straight guy yaps about his suspiciously good gaydar for so long?😭

The original is 10 times better than the translated version I read almost four years ago. The scenes feel grander, and the writing is truly mesmerizing. I’m only now realizing what a great writer Donna Tartt actually is. Wow!

Just realised that I don’t remember most of this book anymore. I can now reread it and feel like I’m experiencing it for the first time again🤭
