After reading to page 15 I felt bad for the kid because he didn't like where he lived and felt better and free when he left the town. When his mom was worried about him it reminded me of my mom. Because no matter how good or bad I am doing my mom is always worried. So in someway I feel connected to the boy. I feel connected to the boy because the town I live in is very boring so I try to leave whenever I can as well.

Thor Cossette
Thor Cossette is finished
After reading the whole book, I enjoyed reading about all of the crazy, weird and even freaky parts of the book. In the last 40ish pages of the book I had a mix of emotions. I felt very sad when all the glass breaking was the sound of uncle Frank killing himself. I also felt happy for David and his family moving because they got a fresh start. In the end I really enjoyed reading this book and would read it again.

While reading about the break in and the intruders I felt a sense of excitement while reading. Not because I wanted Davids mom to die but because it was thrilling to read about. Like I was talking about previously it was also cool to see the answer of why Davids mom picked up the shotgun. While reading I also welt scared because I really enjoyed reading the book and I didn't want it to end.

While reading I felt mad about how the family acted towards Uncle Frank. Wesley on his knees begging I remembered in the introduction this scene previously happened. This got me thinking about the other scenes in the introduction. I am looking forward to see what happens with Davids mom and why she has a shotgun.

In my previous responses I worried and felt bad about the situation David was in because Marie died. After reading further in the book I feel much less worried for David because he has matured as a person and has became more involved in the problem with Uncle frank. David also talks at the end of how frank was in the town in the time Marie died wich makes me suspicious of frank.

When reading I felt bad for David. During the book he is put in a very hard position because he sees his grandfather fighting with his father. And he doesn't know what to do. If I were david I would try to talk to my mom about everything. Doing this would make David feel more comfortable in his own house and not feel like he is walking on eggshells.

While reading The book I felt bad for david because what is going on in the book is very stressful to read let alone it be a reality. I am wondering and curious to find out how David handles his feelings. I also am worried for the dad because he is under a lot of stress from learning about what his brother did. Plus him admitting it is a lot to handle for anyone. I am curious what he will do in the future of the book

When reading up to page 43 I felt very uncomfortable and sad for multiple reasons. I felt uncomfortable because it was weird reading words like rape and fondle. I have never actually read those words before and it really was scary. I felt sad because I realized that this actually happens in todays world. Most of the time the people this happens to are too afraid to say anything and end up saying nothing at all.

After reading to page 29 I felt uncomfortable when the boy was describing his feelings for Marie. It was weird reading about when he saw Marie naked especially when he went in depth about what he saw. While reading I started to feel worried for Marie. She was very sick and needed 2 thick wool blankets for her to sweat the cold away. That worried me because whenever I get a fever I don't need that many blankets.
