Patience's backstory was really good, but "The Strange Demise of Titus Endor" was absolutely insane. Simply a fantastic, mind-blowing story. Reminded me very much of all the Fitzek Books i‘ve read.

‘Will the torment end then?’ he asked her. ‘Will the fire go out then?’ ‘Between you and me, it will never go out,’ she said. ‘But the pain will cease.’

STFU 😭😭😭

The first three stories don't revolve around characters from the series. The author mentions that they‘re only included because he didn't know where else to publish them. Tbh, I only skimmed them because they're rather weak in content. The first story featuring Eisenhorn and his crew, however, is very good and refreshing; a pure detective story with investigations, pathology, and everything. I enjoyed it.
