Jackson is starting
All other books are going on hold temporarily because the legends at Pan Macmillan came through with a very early review copy! I've been looking forward to this one for so long - we are going on an adventure!

Jackson’s Previous Updates

Jackson
Jackson is finished
A far future alien species using the term "cosplaying" as a point of reference is pretty weird. It broke my immersion a bit. But considering that's my only gripe in the first 600 pages that's not bad going. Tchaikovsky's book are consistently brilliant, and this one is no different, minor nit-picking aside.

This book is over 600 pages long so my tracking is a little off. It's so good though. Nobody is doing like Tchaikovsky.

This man... I sometimes feel like he writes books with my interests and preferences in mind.

Christoph Awesome, I'm jealous ;-). Even though Book 3 was a let down, Books 1 and 2 are among my alltime-favourites. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Yes, book #3 definitely wasn't on par with the first two, I'd agree. Here's hoping this one is a return to form.
