A little more of Calvin and Hobbes' relationship. In Calvin's mind, he and Hobbes make a bunch of noise at bedtime and blame each other for it when they get in trouble with Calvin's father. However, it's actually Calvin making all the noise, since Hobbes is actually a stuffed tiger, whereas Calvin only IMAGINES Hobbes is real. Interesting turn of events here.

After taking Hobbes home, Calvin asks his father what to do when he catches a tiger, and his father tells him to stuff the tiger. Calvin, however, misinterprets his father's instructions and stuffs Hobbes full of food from the family's kitchen. Somehow, I don't think Calvin's parents are going to be very happy.

Just read the first strip. Here we're introduced to Calvin, a precocious little boy, and Hobbes, a tiger. Calvin rigged a tiger trap with a tuna fish sandwich, catching the foolish Hobbes. Let's see how well these two get to know each other.
