This is super upsetting as the Coast Guard did not try to help the Edmund Fitzgerald as they had a person who had no imagination at all and ignored the phone calls. It is so hard to believe that this kind of thing could happen. The Coast Guard who monitors the Great Lakes did not even censure him! I am very upset and had to take half a tranquilizer as he should have been court marshalled.
