Hannah stayed the night at a friends house. Savanna and Trace spent the night together. The open house was a success. Tomorrow is Christmas. Trace is starting to ask himself if he sees himself being with Savanna forever. He is scared that he might be like his father who only ever cared about himself. He needs to talk with Savanna on where this is going with the two of them.

Savanna is making some progress in restoring the bedrooms. Trace and Hannah have been working on their own project. He repainted the outside shutters and redid the floors. Savanna is blown away. They went caroling. Hannah met a friend and Trace had a chance to kiss Savanna. He asks if she wants to have an open house tomorrow night for Christmas Eve. He planned everything. She says yes! They have a party to plan!

Trace finds out how bad things are for Savanna financially and makes some calls to help. He has to be sneaky so she doesn’t feel like it’s charity. Trace helps decorate the Christmas tree and kisses Savanna. She is trying hard to not like him because she views his business type personality being just like her ex’s. Trace is trying to enjoy the holiday traditions but memories of his Scrooge dad are plaguing him

Trace is feeling happy. The happiest he has felt in a long time. He is falling for Savanna and quickly! They go and find a Christmas tree. It’s a huge one. Nate Daniels, Mae’s lover stops by. Tells them how much they meant to Mae.

Trace, Savanna, and Hannah will spend the Christmas holiday together due to Mae’s last request.

Trace arrives at Holiday Retreat and is upset to find out that people are there including a child. Even though he owns a toy business he does not like children. He was hoping to get work done alone while processing his feelings with Mae gone. He sees Savannah and is surprised to be attracted to her. Trace understands what Mae’s plan was. It’s her last chance to play matchmaker in his life.

Book 3: The Perfect Holiday Savanna has moved into her Aunt Mae Holiday’s house that has been in her family since the 1800’s. Aunt Mae turned the Vermont home into a bed and breakfast called Holiday Retreat. Savanna is in financial ruins since her divorce. She has a daughter, Hannah. Trace was a close friend to Mae. On her death bed from cancer she asked him to spend Christmas at the inn after she passed.

Maxim does everything he can to try to find Adelaide after he finds out she knows. He even calls Mark’s parents to try to find her. He tells them he loves Adelaide. He finally finds her but she pushes him away until she learns what he told Mark’s mom. She realizes that Maxim isn’t like Mark and loves her by how hard he worked to keep her alive. She calls him back. They get married and had a baby boy. The end.

Adelaide has found out the truth about Mark’s affair and the bribes he took. Maxim is wondering where Adelaide is because she’s late to dinner. He gets a call about the news breaking and he is so mad. Harvey took the “bribe” money AND still leaked the news.

Maxim invited Adelaide over for Christmas Eve dinner with his daughters. Maxim finally got a hold of Harvey to make sure he doesn’t tell. Maxim gave him a $30,000 “severance” package to help encourage him not to say anything. Harvey said he wouldn’t but the intern Mark had the affair with might. Maxim doesn’t feel good about this.
