I finished this but it was a fight to get there. First act was okay with the plane crash and mmc sorta pining. But man the second act what was even the point? Drama with FMC sisters. Then random drama with mother in law and pr stuff with his ceo position and her leaving her job, then therapy and a surprise pregnancy. No real spice in second act also. I just was confused why there was so much of nothing

Drama with mmc proving mental fitness with ceo positions and public opinion on their relationship was just not my thing and now that they weee together I didn’t know what else to the story had to be told. I would’ve loved som pm drama and some push pull from FMC.

They hookup spice is decent and they marry on the island. Mmc gets bit by snake and they brave the ocean again and get rescued. Things I liked. I hate survivalist stories so the fact that the author skipped past most of the logistics and inner turmoil was lovely. However once they were rescued I had to deal with all of it on the backend and it was no longer fun.

Mmc is obsessed with FMC his secretary. FMC is going on girls trip to Miami he doesn’t want her to go so He plans a trip and forces her to go by calling her airline to say she was his wife who died on there trip their plans crashes and they get stuck on an island together. Mmc proves his worthiness by bringing food and FMC watched the travel channel so she knows everything about being a survivalist.
