Jesus was so powerful he invented baptism. Demons who used to just take all humans to hell started losing them to heaven, and they got upset bc they "didn't have power to lie with women" and create life (unlike God). But they really wanted a chosen one of their own, the one who'd decieve people on Earth, and did their best, so Merlin was born with the Devil's knowledge of the past and God's knowledge of the future :D

Robert's Arthur is pretty much Merlin 2.0 so I can only conclude he's making them a trinity with Jesus himself because the concept of the three keeps repeating
