This was so good. What a pleasant surprise. There’s been some hit or misses with this series but this was a definite hit. I love a fated mate trope done well. And the fact that FMC lured mmc to his capture and then felt bad and nursed him. While mmc was reluctantly taken with FMC wanted to protect her and hated her at the same time. Just want I needed. I loved the slow build up of their devotion to one another. I loved fmcs strength that she stuttered but found her voice with mmc, never compromised her beliefs even against pain and punishment, I loved how mmc spoke about her body and how much he truly desired her specifically. There was so much to love about this. I couldn’t put it down
