This book is maybe far too depressing for me. Beautifully written, but my god Shane & Andres should NOT be together… they obviously care about each other but neither of them is even remotely in any mental space ready for a relationship. Less than 100 pages left & so far this has felt fucking endless.

This book is beautifully told, just as good as the others in the series, but I’m taking far longer to get through this one because it’s more depressing than the others. I want to finish it but at this point it’s sad how long I’ve been reading it (I started LAST August)… I’m not a fan of angst and this book feels heavier/sadder than the others and I’m worried it’s not gonna have a happy ending.
