The woman getting conned is literally the most insufferable character in the world, which is the point and she’s so cleverly crafted, just like all the other characters. It’s just so interesting to see the perspectives of a person being conned and then the opposite perspective of the con people and the planning behind it and the dynamics between them

The writing style of this book is so lush and poetic and it’s bound to immerse you completely in the story. I love the three perspectives we have with their different mentalities and mindsets and goals and it’s genuinely so compelling to follow them around. This book is immersive, with an addictive quality to it so far
