phew that took a really long time

there was a lot that i did like, imagery being top, genuinely frightening in ways even horror novels don’t do

but it’s a book where at a glance it seems great because there’s so much gojng but really it’s just, so plot. wow, so convoluted complex.

also all the characters have the exact same voice.

eesh. could’ve been great. ended up just being fine. and a lil boring.

so a big problem is that i don’t care about any of these characters and the writing style is not helping either

the content is intriguing and some imagery genuinely frightening but god this writing style does not make me want to sit and read more
