phew that took a really long time
there was a lot that i did like, imagery being top, genuinely frightening in ways even horror novels don’t do
but it’s a book where at a glance it seems great because there’s so much gojng but really it’s just, so plot. wow, so convoluted complex.
also all the characters have the exact same voice.
eesh. could’ve been great. ended up just being fine. and a lil boring.

oh to add more. it’s the kind of book where, because you have to really think about it, one might think oh because it’s complicated, means it’s a good, well plotted book. not so. yeah it’s complex but very little got me invested.
