bit of a shame that the mystery is so obvious. i’m 100% certain that my guess from chapter 2 is exactly where things are headed, but a familiar story done well is still a good time and this has been done *very* well so far.

i get that it’s the whole point but it’s a little sad that there’s no ‘magic’ to the magic system, esp after the scene set by the first chapter.
