Oh my word, the fear is real in that final chapter of book 1 of the Fellowship! In the movie adaptation, I don’t think the Elf was Glorfindel that met them at this point though, wasn’t Legolas introduced instead? 🤔

My copy has that cover! The book is so old, many of the pages are loose.😥
