Idk if it’s me but it just feels so sloppy (the time stuff)

Again the time travel stuff is annoying and difficult to track but this was the most fun this book has been. The trying to innovate and recover lost tech stuff reminds me of Stormlight.

Also Lessa is dumb af ngl

I can’t imagine a worse book for time paradox bs

It’s astonishing it took this long to learn the basics of the Threads but I suppose that’s in tune with how the characters learned it. The pacing is still all over the place.

Again just a lot of exposition

The fuck is the pacing in this book it’s been THREE YEARS???

Also, the constant jumping back and forth of perspectives within pages and paragraphs without clear transition indicators in the prose is insanely frustrating.

And how is it possible that no one has ever time traveled before since apparently you need a vision tied to the specific day and time to teleport? What is happening man

Pretty anticlimactic resolution of what has been the second biggest issue building this entire book.

So much of the writing in this book is tell don’t show but I’m still confused half of the time. It doesn’t help how quickly we’re expected to remember names and alliances and world building situations when they’re not introduced particularly smoothly.
