Part 2 because there is a character limit. A few chapters ago the dog brought a key to our characters while they were sleeping. The characters didn’t even know they needed this. Now I’m reading that the dog led them to the key hole that was hidden behind a tapestry. Like, literally lead them directly to the keyhole. Again, the characters don’t know anything. I’m so thoroughly disappointed with this book.

I should have DNF’d this after 5 chapters when I didn’t like the writing. So far we have 2 characters, one whose motivation is “I have no choice” and the others is “I want to help the main character”. Jesus Christ. There’s a dog that’s been present essentially since page 1 and it’s obviously some sort of god or whatever in disguise, and it keeps just doing stuff to move the book along.
