Equally brutal as it is beautiful! I think I knew I would love this book as when it opened my describing my part of California and detailed the specific color of the poppy way more than necessary.

As brutal as it is beautiful. I knew I was meant for this novel when it opened describing my part of California and the specific color of the poppy.
