This is age gap and mafia-virgin trope. FMC has asd and mmc is in awe of her uniqueness. Age gap wasn’t central to the story so it didn’t bother me and while the storyline was intriguing I couldn’t get a handle on mmcs personality and the way he fawned over a pretty basic FMC just wasn’t vibing. I liked that he liked her for who she was but

Author could have done a better job with describing her character, her whole study of people fell flat for me. There was a lot of critiques in reviews about this sexclub and mmc having had sex with a client there. Not sure how I would’ve reacted had I not read about it beforehand but it did feel like an unnecessary over share and at this point of the story added nothing to the storyline
