I gave it the whole college try and should’ve dropped out. This was so boring and felt like one massive run on sentence. I didn’t really care about any of the characters. FMC was forgettable and mmc was lackluster. I wanted pining and yearning and a real love triangle but she didn’t even like the other guy and he spent most of the time being an ass.

Ultimately I knew this wouldn’t work for me as I don’t care about war college/battle tropes and even the dragons weren’t that interesting. Also some of the twists were too obvious. Caden working for the other team duh, the little dragon being a baby obvious, and then her brother showing up was the least surprising thing of all and was clear from how much the kept bringing him up
