im liking this book but it feels like those pick me "im soooo skinny" girl memes. except reversed. it feels like every other page this guy's like "im so huge it's crazy" or "his gaze lingered on me a little longer because i was just so gargantuan" (this is an actual paraphrase from an actual line i just read). like bro i get it you told me from page 1 you're really tall and heavy i GET ITTTTTT

aaron the supposed bully is actually quite silly once he's outside of his toxic friend group and has now met god. reminds me of zuko becoming a silly, awkward little guy after deciding not to be evil anymore

chat don't judge me and my eight pages i had a spider in the room situation going on while i was reading. also this book was published in 2018 and i bet it's been sitting on my shelf since then too. im glad to finally be reading it!
