This novel is paced so strangely. Chapters are broken into vignettes of planning and plodding from all sides of a techno-future WW3, and truly washes over your eyes, and then suddenly there is some of the most grotesque images of death and gore paired either painful white saviors.

Clancy is good. Second best-seller and there are POC in positions of authority, considerations of gender and regard for women’s’ well-being… I’m impressed!
