Once you get past the (somewhat hilarious) similarities with Warcraft 3, like the liches and the (now) white haired prince Arthas gone to the dark side, the book is actually brilliant. I love how complex the world building is; the parts including medicine, alchemy, vivimancy are clearly researched so deeply, I am very impressed. The love story is not implausible and the characters are NOT annoying. Love it so far!
