Maybe it’s bc I watched a video essay on Paper Towns recently, but something tells me that the characters at the end of Green’s novel and Jade could probably have a long conversation about building someone you hardly know up based on one character trait is…not great.

Why are we objectifying the new girl for three pages? I get the feeling a lot of the assumptions Jade’s just made are going to be dead wrong regardless
