Chapter 5: Bathing
We are learning about Ghusl and how the Propher (Pbuh) would share his water with Asia (Ra).
Otherwise, it's a pretty short chapter

Chapter 6: Menstrual Period

Aisha (Ra) mentions how the prophet would lean on her lap and recite the quran and she'd play with his hair. (This is acc so cute it has me smiling)

Allah's messanger would order his wife to put on an izar, the izar is like a modest -

I’m sure we are much further ahead but I can’t exactly remember what page I am on. As always I am absolutely loving it. It always feels so homely and easy to read.

As for Particular notes on any hadiths I’ll have to get back to because I wouldn’t have enough time to write it justice

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Welcome to another review of pages 48-ish to 60. I have not noted down a whole lot. For like the Prophet, he would give shorter Khutbahs not to bore the believers.

Todays chapters consist of:
Time of Prayers
Call to Prayers
Benefits of Prayer
Rule of Prayer

I just chose to pick out a select few hadith that I felt were quite meaningful to me

I got so lost into trying to rewrite my poems and stuff in cursive that I lost track of the time, and now it's 10 BLOODEH 40. My eyes are like so dehydrated from just doomscrolling on pinterest for concept arts. Then I couldn't find a nice background for a poem, so I used bing only to get flagged for using AI to get the colour beige. I'm acc crashing out, MY TABLE TO WRITE ON IS MY PS5 BOX I MEAN WGUEBSKW

One should not spit towards the Qibla, (on the wall of the mosque) it is said "whenever any of you stands up for prayer, he is speaking in private to his Lord or his lord is between him and his Qibla. So, none of you should spit in the direction of the Qibla, but one can spit to the left or under his food. " he also mentions you could spit in a tissue and fold it.

So in other words HAVE BLOODEH MANNERS PEOPLE

Right, im going to try to write what I read and put my impressions of it here also

1. The Prophet had asked Abu Huraira for stones to clean the private parts. (We have it so good these days with portable bidets)

2)"if I dog drinks from a utensil you use it is essential to wash it 7 times" notice how he never said don't feed the dog, just because they aren't deemed clean doesn't mean we don't show them love and care

Harris Ali A modest lower garment. So he could essentially cuddle his wife. It also then goes to mention that he had the ability to control his desires and no other. This is really sweet to me cause it's all the love and compassion he'd be showing with no expectations of getting anything back.

Ooh, okay, this hadith is something guys bring up a lot as a means to get back at women, which I think is so silly. Because it's like we are people, and we are meant to help one another anyways

Narrated: Abu Sa'id Al Khudri: Allah's messenger went out to the Musalla of Eid al Adha or Al Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the woman and said "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you." They asked, "why is it so, O Allah's messenger?" He replied "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you."

This is an interesting hadith cause so many people choose to only quote the first bit and just say women = most of hell. But let's try to understand it. "Ungrateful" this is seen even now, the normalisation of social media making the general public so fish bowl minded with its conceptual idea of how every guy is the same, or if he wanted he would, or the comparison of men. As the famous Old saying goes, comparison is the killer of joy but that's only because you become ungrateful for what you have and start wanting more. Though as it stands I wouldn't see men being far off. Women are so mistreated as well. In'Sha'Allah I hope we all find a Naseeb who loves us the way the Prophet and his wives and daughters could love one another.

(I don't want to bore anyone by acc trying to evaluate this in my own head and write it here. But maybe j will some other day its alr 2:31)

As it continues

The women asked " O Allah's messenger, what is deficient in our intelligence and religion?"

The prophet goes on to explain a woman can't fast on her menses, so she is deficient in her religion. And then that the evidence of two women is equal to that of 1 man is evidence of their deficiency of intelligence.

Now, I don't believe this is the prophet saying women aren't as faithful or smart as men. I will see a scholars option on this before I comment cause I don't want to come to offend anyone. [Comment 1]

Harris Ali [Comment 2] I hope this all makes sense, and I don't just sound like I'm making things up 😅

"The prophet felt shy and turned his face." I JUST LOVE READING HOW HUMAN our Propher was cause, like WOAH, he's one of us, but hehe, he's so cool. Literally, my father figure cause I ain't got one Mb gang tmi

But I think it's cool cause the man I want to be has been here and lived an entire life, and my dream is to be like him.

"The prophet used to kiss me whilst he was fasting." Ugh, who needs a romance book. Am I being really silly rn? Idk I'm sorry.

RIGHT CHAPTER 7 WILL BE START LATER IM TIRED AND I NEED TO BE AWAKE IN 4 HRS. If you read this, thanks for reading and listening to my rants

Plus, I messed up the page count. I'm not on 30 I'm a bit ahead
