One should not spit towards the Qibla, (on the wall of the mosque) it is said "whenever any of you stands up for prayer, he is speaking in private to his Lord or his lord is between him and his Qibla. So, none of you should spit in the direction of the Qibla, but one can spit to the left or under his food. " he also mentions you could spit in a tissue and fold it.

I’m sure we are much further ahead but I can’t exactly remember what page I am on. As always I am absolutely loving it. It always feels so homely and easy to read.
As for Particular notes on any hadiths I’ll have to get back to because I wouldn’t have enough time to write it justice

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Welcome to another review of pages 48-ish to 60. I have not noted down a whole lot. For like the Prophet, he would give shorter Khutbahs not to bore the believers.
Todays chapters consist of:
Time of Prayers
Call to Prayers
Benefits of Prayer
Rule of Prayer
I just chose to pick out a select few hadith that I felt were quite meaningful to me

I wasn't going to write an update, but I feel like there is some pretty cool and useful teachings that can be taken from this

I got so lost into trying to rewrite my poems and stuff in cursive that I lost track of the time, and now it's 10 BLOODEH 40. My eyes are like so dehydrated from just doomscrolling on pinterest for concept arts. Then I couldn't find a nice background for a poem, so I used bing only to get flagged for using AI to get the colour beige. I'm acc crashing out, MY TABLE TO WRITE ON IS MY PS5 BOX I MEAN WGUEBSKW

Chapter 5: Bathing
We are learning about Ghusl and how the Propher (Pbuh) would share his water with Asia (Ra).
Otherwise, it's a pretty short chapter
Chapter 6: Menstrual Period
Aisha (Ra) mentions how the prophet would lean on her lap and recite the quran and she'd play with his hair. (This is acc so cute it has me smiling)
Allah's messanger would order his wife to put on an izar, the izar is like a modest -

Right, im going to try to write what I read and put my impressions of it here also
1. The Prophet had asked Abu Huraira for stones to clean the private parts. (We have it so good these days with portable bidets)
2)"if I dog drinks from a utensil you use it is essential to wash it 7 times" notice how he never said don't feed the dog, just because they aren't deemed clean doesn't mean we don't show them love and care

I would like to mention the page numbers are wrong from what I've done I'm not on 45 I'm either ahead or just a little behind I had misclicked prior and it won't let me use a lesser number so in stuck going up so I'm trying to read multiple pages to catch up. But like it's also a blessing in disguise where it's like, it seems like I have to read more to make it make sense, but then like the more I read, the more I know.

Ooh, Itban bin Malik had weak eyesight, so when it rained and the water flowed in the valley, he wouldn't be able to make it to the mosque, so he requested the Nabi to come to his house and pray. The Prophet replies, "Allah willing." And one thing we know about our beloved Nabi is he wasn't a liar, so if I'm going to english analysis nerd out. Him saying In'Sha'Allah shows that he himself as the man he was wanted to 1000 percent gladly go to this man's house to lead a prayer and did not complain once about the rain nor the flowing valley waters. What I'm getting at his actions were made with such sincerity and something a scholar I've been listening to -Abdel Rahman had said is if you perform and action with the sincerity and the pure purpose on pleasing Allah then that is an action Allah himself will reward. SubhanAllah
Anyway, carrying on with the blind man, when the prophet had arrived, he asked for permission to enter he didn't use any type of status of entitlement. Truly the best of us. "Allah has forbidden the fire for those who say, 'None has the right to be worshipped, but Allah' for Allah's sake only"
Alhamdulillah
I was talking to a shia brother earlier, and we were talking about the Shahada and how we had different Shahadas. Not strikingly different ones, but there's includes the addition of Imaam Ali. And oh boy, what a spiral of a conversation that was. It wasn't an argument per say I would surely just seeking the knowledge of another's beliefs. A wise person once said, Go learn it, and if it's wrong, you have proof, and if it's right, well now you know you were wrong (I'm acc just yapping at this point)
Anyways, so then we eventually got to a point where he said Imaam Ali was someone who helped all of the messengers during their times, and I was just stumped like huh because this was surely the first time I had everrrr heard of this (4 Rs for dramatic effect). And then he said the rank of which Imaam Ali would sit is above that of all the other messengers and that we should ask him for help. But the main thing that got to me was that (it pushed me the wrong way) he said Imaam Ali was some kind of middle man we had to go to before asking Allah for help. Now, at this point, I was genuinely questioning, bro, because it's just scary to think he's spreading this knowledge. Now I'm no scholar so I can't really be all up on his beliefs but I asked him who did Ali pray to and ask for help, he said Allah, BUT WHEN I ASKED who did the Nabi ask for help he said Imaam Ali. I acc started tweaking.
I'm going to save all the yaps and just say, I tried to explain that Allah was Rahman and Rahim. The powerful and the merciful and to say that anyone would need anyone but the creator would surely be wrong. He said he would find me his hadiths and show me them next week
Narrated Aisha: Um Habiba and Um Salama mentioned about a church they had seen in Ethiopia in which there were pictures. They told the Prophet about it on which he said, "If any religious man dies amongst those people People they would builda place of worship at his grave and make these pictures in it. They will be the worst ceature in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection."
This remind me of a story I once learnt from Mufti Menk. ummm, let me find it 2 secs
5 pious men
Their names were Wadd, Suwa’, Yaghuth, Ya’uq, and Nasr. They were righteous leaders who lived between the times of Prophet Adam and Prophet Nuh.
When they passed away, Iblis (the devil) decided to make an entrance and convince the people to build statues of remembrance to help remind the people they should pray and be good whenever they saw them. At first, it was all good and well. But as soon as the generations began to pass on and knowledge was lost, Iblis made another entrance. He began to manipulate the facts and plant seeds into the minds of the newer generations that their forefathers would pray to these statues for rain and blessings. This was the first establishment of Shirk.
I butchered this story so hard. I'm retell it some day in the future.
Im going to stop here because I need to be up early. However, I do have a week off of work for ramadaan, so I'll see if I can have an adamant of time to waffle more
