Welcome to another review of pages 48-ish to 60. I have not noted down a whole lot. For like the Prophet, he would give shorter Khutbahs not to bore the believers.

I got so lost into trying to rewrite my poems and stuff in cursive that I lost track of the time, and now it's 10 BLOODEH 40. My eyes are like so dehydrated from just doomscrolling on pinterest for concept arts. One should not spit towards the Qibla, (on the wall of the mosque) it is said "whenever any of you stands up for prayer, he is speaking in private to his Lord or his lord is between him and his Qibla. So, none of you should spit in the direction of the Qibla, but one can spit to the left or under his food. " he also mentions you could spit in a tissue and fold it.

Chapter 5: Bathing
We are learning about Ghusl and how the Propher (Pbuh) would share his water with Asia (Ra).
Otherwise, it's a pretty short chapter
Chapter 6: Menstrual Period
Aisha (Ra) mentions how the prophet would lean on her lap and recite the quran and she'd play with his hair. (This is acc so cute it has me smiling)
Allah's messanger would order his wife to put on an izar, the izar is like a modest -

Right, im going to try to write what I read and put my impressions of it here also
1. The Prophet had asked Abu Huraira for stones to clean the private parts. (We have it so good these days with portable bidets)
2)"if I dog drinks from a utensil you use it is essential to wash it 7 times" notice how he never said don't feed the dog, just because they aren't deemed clean doesn't mean we don't show them love and care

Page 53, 223.Notes: This is a bit of a lengthier hadith but the thing i wanted to take is "the oldest of you should lead the prayer
Opinion: I don't have much to say because it's quite self-explanatory. But it is quite nice to know and will most definitely implement it a lot more in my life.
Additional: In this Hadith, it expands on the mercy of our beloved Prophet Pbuh, as when he saw the faces of the people and the longing for their families' warmth, he would ask them about their families and then ultimately order them to just go home and spread the religion. Moreover, it expands on his welcoming of the youth. (The narrators are told to all be young and of similar age) And I feel like sometimes the elders can lose that loving touch. It is also our job to build that bond and show that respect to them for after all, they are wiser than us in the sense that they have lived life far longer than we ever have
Page 55, 306Notes: "No prayer is heavier upon the hypocrites than Fajr and Isha; and if they only knew what was in them, they would have attended them even if crawling."
Opinion- I specifically chose this because it felt especially heavy. Why? Maybe because of those guilty times I've missed Fajr prayer, or maybe it's because of the current podcast I have on by Abdel Rahman Murphy, where he talks about the dangers of hypocrisy and the types of people involved.
Page 56, 307.Quote: "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Allah will give shade, to seven, on the Day when there will be no shade but His. (These seven persons are) a just ruler, a youth who has been brought up in the worship of Allah, a man whose heart is attached to the mosques, two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's cause only, a man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for illicit intercourse with her and says: I am afraid of Allah, a man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given, and a person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes are then flooded with tears.'"
Opinions- The talk about "two persons who love each other for Allahs sake and meet and part in Allahs' cause only" that just hits I guess. To love a person for Allah would also mean to show them boundless amounts of mercy in the name of Allah which is so powerful. To meet in a Halal way and to only part in Allahs cause.
idk it just feels sorta romantic also, too many romance books for me i think. But also to love someone is to love Allah first and from his love you are able to love endlessly. Because love is a word that emcompasses MILLIONS of emotions and who but the Turner of hearts, the owner of time and the most merciful is better and compassing the heart towards that straight path. the path may be straight, but he never said there wouldnt be any ups and downs to really strengthen that faith and belief.

NOOO MY ISLAM CAT GIF SEARCH
I've just been told I got basically 3 weeks off for ramadaan, which is like Holy Moly. So, yessss Allah, u heard my dua for me wanting to lock in. But I also feel a bit sluggish. Can't let that stop me. Maybe I can get half way through this before ramadaan ends
I think I might just stay this kind of format when typing up comments now, I haven't read through it but it looks a lot neater
Notes: The Prophet Pbuh would pray his Isha namaz and then would get up later at Tahjjud time and offer an 8 Rak'at prayer whilst standing, then he would offer a 2 Rak'at prayer whilst sitting. He then would offer a 2 Rak'at prayer between the Adhan and Iqama of the Fajr prayer.
Opinion- For me, coming from a household that very much loves Islam but most definitely does not know enough about it, learning about the way the Prophet would offer his prayers. Like I never knew you would pray 8 Rak'at for Tahajjud standing and then 2 whilst sitting. It's not a huge lesson or something, but it's just something I had learnt today I wanted to share. The believer who shares beneficial information and the person benefits from it in a halal way is surely to be rewarded for it, so why not try
