Another irritating day of trying to read and being too busy. Having it be so interrupted was really annoying and making it worse at the lack of progress when I wanted to finish today. The short chapters feel so jerky. There are way too many. Sometimes feels like stories are just shared that are irrelevant and at times not much substance, like grandson’s rule..So ready to finish.

So glad I pushed through and finished today. Wish it wasn’t 11 at night but day off didn’t go as planned. But the end I was reading quickly and not absorbing as much. Some good info but a lot can’t really be applied to my job. I didn’t fully appreciate this because I wasn’t in the mood. Good to be done because it felt pretty stretched out at the end. Def took me too long to read which made it worse.

Got a bit done today but not as much as I wanted. There were some good quotes and good material; I was writing down a lot to use. Maybe I’m just not in the mood for this, but it’s feeling a little like a chore. I wanted to read before season starts, but it didn’t work out in Jan and I forgot about it, squeezing it in now and don’t want to read it at home. Really just want to be done and read fiction.

Can’t believe this is all I read on Quiet Day. Had a couple videos to watch and closed out early for a walk, but way too busy today and could barely read. This is definitely not as good as the leadership one. It’s not as deep and sees to barely touch on the rules. So far the three rules I’ve read are mostly his stories with less we can actually apply. The chapters are short as stated but hard to grasp full concept.
