This was enjoyable. Not sure I’d re-read but I felt the characters. The fact that FMC and mom stayed by dad while he was a trash human pissed me off. He also was going to marry her off for business purposes. And while I get that in mafia romance. She was 27 and he was a pastor so she could have easily just said no. Plus she had an actual degree in engineering so it felt like the only thing holding her back was her

Mmc saw that and encouraged her to build her self worth. Still I just wasn’t feeling her letting these men run her life. Mmc was okay. Not too stand out and since she easily loved in there wasn’t any real push pull like I like. This had multiple povs which I don’t love but it wasn’t horrible here. Though her dad came off really young almost like he was the same age as mmc based on his inner monologue.
