I have been asking for years what the bennigit of marriage are for women and it took me reading an economics book in a chapter about divorce to get an answer that made actual sense and highlighted the benefits. Wow lol

The data in this book genuinely depresses me. The fact that being a woman or a minority equates to a 0.25 GPA point when considering hiring and award decisions. What happens at the intersection? Also, all women of childbearing age are kept from advancement to soften the blow of possible childbirth! Seeing the numbers beside the observations is so helpful. Makes me very angry like how do we fix this ?
