a human brain contains roughly 86 billion nerve cells/neurons, and we use all of them
an estimated 1 in 4 people worldwide will face a neurological or psychiatric condition I wonder if that includes mild cases. At what point does anxiety count, etc? It’s a normal human emotion, but many are labeled as having a disorder. I have my doubts.

sensory neurons create electrical signals (action potentials) which travel down a neuron. To get to a second neuron (crossing the gap aka synapse), the action potential is transformed into a chemical messenger which can trigger a second action potential etc etc., can also release a chemical messenger that blunts the transmission of a signal to end the message. (I wish the updates didn’t have a limit on the number of characters..dumb)
