As much as I like Jake books, and as great a job as MacLeod Andrews does in the role (truly, I think he's probably the best of the bunch; second might be Ramón de Ocampo?), and as excellent a volume as 21 is (2/3 in the David arc)... I really question how he makes David sound like he just got back from the dentist and half his mouth is still numb. Sure, it makes him sound a bit unhinged, but he could do it better.
