Putting a pause on this book to read HotHouse Flower

I never thought that she’d be praised and I’d still be condemned.

Nah I can’t imagine being in Lilys place and realising this. It’s like a sla to the face

People make mistakes every day, some small and some big
Do we all just wander through life, fucking up and trying to put ourselves back together only to continue on again?
I don’t want to live in that hopeless reality. I want to be the accumulation of my failures, my successes, of all the people I’ve ever met, of the man I love, and the life I want.
That would be the perfect life.
Not good or bad.
Just complex.

Rose and Connor were so wrapped up in each other in Kiss the Sky that they completely miss the whole Daisy and Rike situation
So reading Thrive, from Lo and Lilys perspective, it’s so obvious to me that Ryke likes Daisy and she likes him back but neither is acting on their feelings. But their friendship is beautiful to me
