The final story, about Shae, was great! She’s one of my favorite characters and this story not only gives her some excellent background but also some of the international politics that come into play later

As much as I love Wen and Hilo's relationship, and enjoyed this backstory to it, this one was a little too close to 'Romantasy' for my taste. I have no problem with folks who enjoy that kind of thing, but I found myself skipping the last 25% or so of this story. 3.5 out 5 stars for me.
