That was kind of a bittersweet story. I wonder if Sovaz will meet that half-ghoul child now grown up.

I love the callback to the characters from the previous books.

We've meet another Lord of Darkness. Fate!
Sovaz has cruel thoughts, just like her demonic father. But, she seems to be resistant to some of them.

So that's how Chuz became Oloru.

I knew it! Oloru is Chuz! I should've known he could be a little fruity too.

I just remembered that Azhriaz is the child of the sun and the night. She's essentially Stella from Winx Club.

Oloru summoned shadow replicas of his sisters so Lak Hezoor couldn't assault the real ones. I mean, that's one way to defend your sisters, but maybe just don't bring the rapey magician to your home next time.

Oloru has to be Chuz, or at least possessed by him.
