gotta be honest with u bros i think the mystery/crime aspect here is the weakest. im deffo enjoying it the least. im guessing its not the only crime to be investigate in this novel? so i hope its gonna get better later on.

from what i remember i liked the first 2 arcs the most. the other three is were it stars to get confusing and honestly there were moments where i dozed off. you’ll have to remember all the ppl from the previous cases and who is who, and just overall i think it was kinda messy but it’s also priest so lowkey expected

Stacie I wonder if you would like Breaking Through the Clouds/Po Yun or Swallowing the Seas/Tun Hai by Huai Shang? Have you read or looked into either of those?

Stacie I’m not sure that you would lol but it might be more interesting to you. IDK if you’ve read anything by Huai Shang but her novels are a little more plot twisty and labyrinthian.

NiaKantorka The threads of all five (I think) crimes come together in the end but I remember that the crimes were a bit far fetched at times.
Also a fair warning: Don’t try In the Dark. It’s crimes are cringe and totally unbelievable.
