Read the next chapter, "The Antonine Plague". No mention of Lucius yet, I hope his foid ass gets murked. The switch from talking about the plague to Aurelius' relations with the Christians is quite abrupt. I would like for a full chapter on this though. The quality of writing for this is frankly not great. It's decently well written, but I expect far better from a Yale-published book.

Read chapter eleven, Parthicus Maximus. I hate Lucius he's the o.g. Donald Trump Bumbling idiot who mishandles a military campaign because he's to busy diddling little boys and partying to actually run the war while calling himself the greatest person to exist. He's such a chud I'm glad he brought a plague back I hope he dies from it.

Just read the introduction stuff. Cool map at the beginning. I think it shows just how much of a philosopher-emperor Aurelius was by the fact that the introduction spends over half its time talking about Meditations/Τά εις εαυτόν. I hope that the biography gives a little analysis to the work, Meditations can be kinda hard to interpret sometimes.
