Isabella, to me, is a no-go on friendship. She is emotionally manipulative and I'm glad Catherine is strong-willed enough to see through it and stick to what she believes is right. John Thorpe, her brother, is no better. Both of these characters irk me so much. I also fail to see the connection between Tilney and Catherine though besides that one time they talked before he left Bath for a week. Hope it gets better.

43-67.. WHERE IS MR TILNEY.. that is all I have to say because poor Catherine had to be in the presence of a John Thorpe and listen for an hour in the carriage of his incessant boasts. And the only time Catherine has ever been interesting was when she was bantering with Mr Tilney, so now I am having a dreadful time. And she quite literally concerns herself with only Mr Tilley so I am not exaggerating on that point.

25-42 3.23.26 It is near midnight at 1152 pm and this book is giving me such a good time to live in. The atmosphere is all sunny and they go to shops and rooms where they meet one another. Isabella and Catherine are bonding over books and it's cementing their relationship. I love how Isabella gives book recommendations to Catherine and they both just exude joy and gratefulness for the other's friendship <3.
