This book is going to be powerful. Animals are sentient beings, yet humans exploit and slaughter them for food. It is unconscionable. Why can’t we all love and care for our animal friends? Why can’t we all, at the VERY least, stop eating meat? Why must we exploit animals for human consumption? I can’t wait to dive into this. It will be emotional. #vegforlife

Satyam Mishra Ohhh so that's what this book is about I was thinking it's some kinda light fiction with animal characters. Looks cool excited for your thoughts on the book. ^_^

Ashley The cover definitely looks more like a children's book, haha! My understanding is that it takes a more scientific approach later in the book, mixed with earlier stories of people emotionally connecting with all sorts of animals. We are more similar to animals than we are different, and that should be reflected in how we treat them. I believe that's the overall theme of the book.
