This series is so good, wish I had access to Book 3 through the library bc I would read it in a heartbeat!! First of all: Butterball. Second, the mystery plots aren’t obvious (at least to me) and I like how they unfold. This one had many threads, and my fave was Butterball’s secret money tunnel for bratwurst.. ugh and the ending w Sam was perfect, girl couldn’t be me, live in your damn dream home!!

Strong 4 stars (maybe even 4.5). The next one would be even better bc things w Capone heated up a bit too.. but def not a romance (yet). Prob the best mystery I’ve read all year.
