Celeste ignored him.
"If you ever need help changing, love, I'd be glad to be of ser—" Before he could finish his sentence, Celeste hurled her coat at his head.

For most of her life, Celeste had enjoyed being the youngest daughter. There was very little responsi-bility, and her parents gave her everything she ever wanted, so long as she stayed in line. But somewhere along the way, Celeste had begun to realize that no one expected anything from her. Which also meant no one trusted her with anything.
