all characters are really well developed. interesting plot lines and palpable emotions even though all they do is sit in the car. this is a 4 star read. the writing style is crass but sophisticated and dynamic and filled with cliches and it's just good.

there was a really great perspective from nash, mr wang's biz partner, on the rise of anti-intellectualism, using the strip club analogy. "when i go to a failing strip club in new orleans and say that im at ozymandia's pleasure palace, i want everyone to laugh and get depressed"
