I’d also like to say that I absolutely hate the way Ursu is portraying jack’s profoundly depressed mother. It makes sense for his perspective to be uncharitable bc he’s hurt, but the narration also thinks she’s an empty inhuman shell and it’s like girl that is a person you have invented to suffer and you are dehumanizing her like crazy
